The new Buzzi 55' STAB® is a high-performance boat based on the military version FB 55' a v-multistepped hull, tested in competitions at speed over 100 mph, in very rough waters. With a beam of hull of 3.5 m ( 2.856 m with STAB® deflated) and a length of 16.40 m, is basically a narrow beam boat, for better rough water performances that has a great stability and buoyancy thanks to the STAB® inflatables.
The cockpit can be equipped with a sofa with two-three seats (two during navigation); two seat-boxes and four Tecno G10 seats. The two seat-boxes give two more seats in the cockpit, and they can be used during navigation, thanks to the handles placed on the back of Tecno G10 seats.
In the right one can be installed a refrigerator, while the left one is devoted to storage of some equipment. Each of the seat-box has four glass-holders. On the boat sides, behind them, are placed a speaker of the Hi-Fi system and a watertight hatch. The left one is for storage of small objects, while the right one gives access to the distribution taps of the air conditioning system.
Below the hardtop are placed four damped Tecno G10 seats, that are controlled by an electric actuator, which allows easy variable support, dependent on sea conditions, by the simple push of a button. Between the two rows of seats are placed the grillages for the air suction of the fancoils, which are placed below the cockpit floor. On the left side can be placed the sub-woofer of the Hi-Fi system. In the front part of the cockpit is placed, on one side, the wheelhouse with the driver's console. On the other side is placed the radio and air conditioning system console, with VHF marine radio, Clarion Hi-Fi system and Air conditioning system control unit for the cockpit.
